2011 Picatinny Chapter Officers

Jane Smith Krueger President, Jane Smith Krueger
Current Position: Administrative Officer, Countermeasures & Flares Branch, Pyrotechnics Division

Prior to working at Picatinny, Jane worked primarily as an administrative assistant in various private industry sectors over the last 20 years.  Jane has been able to extract skills learned from each of these positions to achieve her current strengths.  In 2003, she received her Bachelor’s of Art Degree from Caldwell College in Multidisciplinary Studies; then in 2007, she earned her Master’s Degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

From 2003 - 2008, Jane was the administrative assistant for the contractor UTRS at Picatinny.  Jane has been involved in NDIA and WID since early 2004.  Jane’s commitment to NDIA proved through successful Chairing of the Firepower Benefit from 2005 through 2008; publishing the bi-annual chapter newsletter; and assisting MWR personnel in organizing fundraising for the public Armed Forces Day celebration in both 2005 and 2007.  Jane also helped organize several NDIA bus trips and picnics.  Her concurrent involvement with WID over those same years included assisting in the organization of the Bring Your Child To Work Day event since 2006; assisting in organizing the Ginny Moss Memorial Golf outing from 2005 to present; and as a member of the WID Picatinny Golf League team.  With the conversion to a government employee in 2008, Jane has continued to support WID in any way she can.  She was the POC for the training event that took place in November 2009 and co-chaired the very successful 2010 Bring Your Child To Work Day event.

Outside of work Jane is an Elder in her church.  She is married and enjoys all the aspects of her four year old's life.  Some of her hobbies include sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Vice President, Jesharelah (Jes) Lafeuillee
Current Position: Program Analyst, Financial Management

Jes came to Picatinny in May 2008, working as a TAMI contractor.  Jes became a civilian government employee in June 2009.

In her personal life, Jes is married and blessed with a pupply named Buddy.  She loves reading, engrossing herself in culture (the arts, new foods, or meeting people from all over the world).  She has come to realize that no matter where one is from there are common needs that bind us all together, the greatest of which is the need for love.

Jes likes that WID is such a great organization for networking.  She especially benefitted from the mentoring program in which she found great mentors.
